SJRF launched its Travel Flag Football program during the 2024–2025 season, and we're excited to head into our third travel season in 2026-2027!

As our current season comes to a close, we're beginning to plan for next year and would love to hear from families who may be interested in participating.

If your athlete is interested in playing Travel Flag Football in 2026-2027, please complete our interest form. This helps us gauge interest, plan for teams, and share important updates about registration, tryouts, and the upcoming season.

• This is a competitive travel team. We are looking for individuals who possess the athletic skills and drive, and will give us the opportunity to compete with the best teams in the Midwest region.
•  Equally important is the fact that our players and families will be representing St. Joseph Rocket & Flag Football. Leadership and sportsmanship are a must to be a part of this team. 
• Commitment. We need players that are able to commit to practices and tournaments.

Practice location and cadence will be determined as we get closer to the season. Tournament schedule will most likely be announced in February, but plan to travel to Wisconsin, Ohio and locations throughout Michigan. Travel costs, including hotels, are not included in the registration fee and will be the responsibility of the family.

It takes approximately $700 per player to cover the cost of 5 tournament entry fees, indoor facility rental and jerseys. Our goal is to be able to fundraise to lower the registration cost for each player. The more fundraising participation, the less out of pocket costs that will be required.

In addition to registration, you can expect the following fees:

-Zorts player card: $20

-NFL Verification: $20

-AAU Membership: $20

-Travel expenses for each tournament. We will have several out of state tournaments that will require a hotel stay but we will continue to look for more opportunities close to home.
